The people below are the Left slate of candidates for the UNISON National Executive Council. Together, they are standing on a joint platform based on the following:
DEMOCRACY: For a democratic union under the control of the membership; against political witch hunts of activists; for open, transparent and grassroots decision making;
SOLIDARITY: For united action against the bosses; for joint action with other public sector unions to defend pay and conditions.
WORKERS’ RIGHTS: For resistance to bosses seeking to cut pay and conditions, for defence of our union against derecognition; for a campaigning, fighting union.
